Little Traverse Lake is located about 6 miles ENE of Glen Arbor and 7 miles SW of Leland along the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore in Leelanau County in Michigan's lower peninsula. This aerial photo was taken in a summer afternoon from East of the lake. On the right in the distance is Good Harbor Bay and Pyramid Point, which are part of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.

Lime Lake is located about 7 miles east of Glen Arbor, and 9 miles southwest of Leland near Sleeping Bear Dunes in Leelanau County in Michigan's lower peninsula. This page features aerial photos of the lake.

Glen Lake is divided into two sections, known as “Little Glen Lake” and “Big Glen Lake.” This is one of my favorite spots in Michigan! In this region of the northwestern lower peninsula you can kayak the open waters of Big Glen Lake or travel down the Crystal River, which connects Glen Lake to Lake Michigan.
