Lime Lake is located about 7 miles east of Glen Arbor, and 9 miles southwest of Leland near Sleeping Bear Dunes in Leelanau County in Michigan's lower peninsula. This aerial photo was taken in the daytime on a summer afternoon from north of the lake.

Lime Lake is located about 7 miles east of Glen Arbor, and 9 miles southwest of Leland near Sleeping Bear Dunes in Leelanau County in Michigan's lower peninsula. The Michigan DNR public access boat launch site is towards the southwest end of the lake.
