Suttons Bay is located on the E side of the Leelanau Peninsula on Grand Traverse Bay near the village of Suttons Bay, which is about 16 miles N of Traverse City in Michigan's lower peninsula. This aerial photo was taken from W of the bay in summer.

Suttons Bay is located on the east side of the Leelanau Peninsula on Grand Traverse Bay near the village of Suttons Bay, which is about a 16 mile drive north from Traverse City in Michigan's lower peninsula. The Michigan DNR public access boat launch site is located in the Suttons Bay Marina.
