Lake Macatawa near Holland
This aerial photo was taken on a sunny fall afternoon from the southwest end of the lake, with the Big Red Lighthouse and piers off to the left of Holland State Park.
Lake Macatawa is located near Holland in Ottawa County on the southwest shores of Michigan's lower peninsula. There are three Michigan DNR public access boat launch sites:
On the north side towards the west end
On the south side towards the east end (Kollen Park Boat Launch)
On the north side towards the east end (by Howard B. Dunton Park)
