Lake Leelanau

Lake Leelanau is located near Leland on the Leelanau Peninsula in Leelanau County, northwest of Traverse City on the northwest shores of Michigan's lower peninsula. The lake has a north arm and south arm, which combine for a total length of around 15 miles. There are six total Michigan DNR public access boat launch sites between the north and south arms:

• Ramp in the Leland River - North Arm

• Lake Leelanau DNR Boat Ramp (North) - North Arm

• Lake Leelanau DNR Access Site (South) - North Arm

• The Narrows DNR Boat Ramp - South Arm

• Bingham Boat Launch -South Arm

• Lake Leelanau DNR Boat Ramp (West) - South Arm
