Located near U.S. Highway 131 between Big Rapids and Stanwood in Mecosta County, Rogers Dam is owned and operated by Consumers Energy. Rogers Dam, Hardy Dam and Croton Dam along the Muskegon River produce around 45,000 kilowatts of energy and power around 22,000 homes. The Michigan DNR public access boat launch site is located on the north side of the Rogers Dam Pond.
