Otsego Lake is about 1 mile south of Gaylord on to the west of I-75 in Otsego County in Michigan's lower peninsula. One Michigan DNR public access boat launch site is located in the Otsego Lake State Park towards the southeast end of the lake, and the other boat ramp is located in the Otsego Lake County Park towards the northwest end of the lake.
