Muskegon Lake near Muskegon

Muskegon Lake is located near Muskegon in Muskegon County in Michigan's lower peninsula, and connects Bear Lake to Lake Michigan. There are five Michigan DNR public access boat launch sites:

• The boat ramp at the northwest end of the lake by Muskegon State Park

• Cottage Grove Public Access at the southwest end of the lake

• Grand Trunk Launch Ramp on the south side of the lake

• Boat launch near Hartshorn Marina on the south side of the lake

• Boat ramp by Fisherman’s Landing at the east end
