Situated near Rapid City NE of Traverse City and NW of Kalkaska, Lake Skegemog is connected to Elk and Torch Lakes in the NW region of Michigan's lower peninsula. This aerial photo was taken from north of the lake on a summer day.

Situated near Rapid City NE of Traverse City and NW of Kalkaska, Lake Skegemog is connected to Elk and Torch Lakes in the NW region of Michigan's lower peninsula.  It sits at the intersection of Antrim, Grand Traverse, and Kalkaska Counties. The Michigan DNR public access boat launch site is on the southwest side of the lake.
