The Hardy Dam and Hardy Dam Pond are located about 10 miles northeast of Newaygo and 15 miles southwest of Big Rapids in Newaygo County in Michigan's lower peninsula. This aerial photo was taken on a summer evening from south of the dam.

The Hardy Dam and Hardy Dam Pond are located about 10 miles northeast of Newaygo and 15 miles southwest of Big Rapids in Newaygo County in Michigan's lower peninsula. The Hardy Dam is operated by Consumer's Energy on the Muskegon River. The Michigan DNR public access boat launch site is located towards the center of the lake on the south side.
